We are a dedicated and popular parent cooperative that has been in Gothenburg since 1992. Since August 2011, we have our premises at Stora Torp Castle in Örgryte along the 5 tram line. The preschool was established with the aim of giving children a safe start in life by offering a preschool with a high staff-to-child ratio and, above all, by having Montessori pedagogy at the center. This means that parents and staff collaborate with the child's individual development in focus. We are a small preschool with two departments, one for toddlers and one for our 3 to 6-year-olds. Since we have a lovely park/forest environment outside our door, outdoor education is very dear to us. Our team consists of 8 people, including a kitchen manager who works part-time in the children's group.

We are looking for an engaged preschool teacher for our parent cooperative!

Do you want to work in a safe and inspiring environment where you can make an impact? We are looking for someone with experience working in a preschool environment or in some other capacity with children. If you also have training or experience in Montessori, that is a big plus!

About the role

As an educator with us, you will work in an environment with a high staff-to-child ratio and a stable team. We value outdoor education and regularly try to prepare snacks and sometimes even lunch outdoors in nature. Experience from scouting or other outdoor activities is therefore meritorious.

We are looking for someone who:

✔ Has experience working with children, preferably in preschool activities

✔ Is a qualified preschool teacher or has equivalent experience

✔ Has training in or interest in Montessori pedagogy

✔ Is flexible, cooperative, and has a big heart for children's development

✔ Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
